Aval Laddu

                             This is the Laddu version of Aval, almost same as Aval Puttu.This sweet is in Laddu form whereas Aval Puttu is in the loose, powder form.This Aval Laddu is very easy to make but tasty.



Aval Laddu


To make 15 Laddus
Ingredients :

Thick Aval / Poha   1 cup.
Sugar   1 cup.
Ghee   4 tbsp.
Cardamom  2
Cashew, Badam, Raisins

Method :

1. Heat 1 tsp. of Ghee, fry the nuts and raisins.Set aside.

2.Heat 1 tsp.of Ghee and roast the Aval for 2 mins.Let it cool.

3. Powder the roasted Aval, Cardamom and sugar finely in a mixer.Mix well.

4. Heat the remaining Ghee, add to the powdered mixture.Add the roasted nuts and
    raisins.Mix well. Make into balls of desired size.
